Sew Much More makes “fidget blankets” for people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. These blankets have zippers, buttons, and other features to engage and occupy. Other projects include baby blankets and layettes that are distributed to local hospitals, memory care, and care homes. The group also provides bereavement gowns for stillborn and babies who die shortly after birth, made from donated and collected bridal gowns.
